Pastor Rosalind Thompkins Lynch
& ELDER WILLIE LYNCH

Pastor Rosalind Thompkins Lynch is a true pioneer, teacher, preacher, choir director, recording artist, song writer, play writer and mentor in the DMV area. During her college years, Rosalind Thompkins Lynch co-founded the Stellar nominated Howard Gospel Choir. Also during her college years, Pastor Rosalind sang and toured with the renowned Dr. Richard Smallwood in the first Gospel group ever formed on the campus of Howard University. She has a Bachelor of Music Education Degree and a Masters in Administration and Supervision, receiving both degrees from Howard University.  

 

Over the years, Pastor Lynch has served on several music boards, including the International Music Board of the Church of God In Christ under Dr. Mattie Moss Clark,  and the International Music Board for the Church of God. In addition, Pastor Lynch has received numerous awards for her excellence in music and was recently named a DMV Hero from the area’s fellow singers and musicians.  

 

Pastor Lynch has served as Minister of Music of the New Bethel Church of God in Christ, served as a Choir Director at the Jericho Baptist Church in Washington, DC, and served jointly as Minister of Music and Choir Director at the Ebenezer A.M.E. Church. Following that, she accepted  the call to serve at the National Church of God in Fort Washington, MD as the Director of Church Music and Worship.  

 

Rosalind Thompkins Lynch was ordained and licensed after answering God’s call to the ministry. Currently, she is serving on the DelmarvaDC Music Board and DelmarvaDC  Praise Team for the Church of God while administrating the worship department at National Church of God.

Pastor Rosalind is the Founder and CEO of Rosalind Thompkins Lynch Ministries, Inc., which serves the community with monthly praise and worship services. She also conducts a weekly Bible study and prayer entitled “Doing It God’s Way” every Wednesday night on Facebook Live.

Married to Elder Willie J. Lynch, Jr., her husband of 39 years, she has two identical twin daughters, Dr. Angelique Lynch-Jiles (Dr. Elliott Jiles) and Victoria Lynch-Draper, Esq. (Marcus Draper). She is the proud grandmother of 3 grandchildren. 

 

Pastor Rosalind Thompkins-Lynch's accomplishments far exceed this bio. Her impact on the DMV area is now and will always be legendary and monumental.
