Pastor sylvester & gail williamson

Pastor Sylvester Williamson, Jr., is an Associate Pastor at the National Church of God in Fort Washington, Maryland. He has been a member of the church’s multi-cultural staff for over 30 years. He has held several positions including Children's Pastor, Interim Youth Pastor, and Sidewalk Sunday School/Bus ministry. He currently serves as the Pastoral Care and Men’s Ministry Pastor.  Additionally, Pastor Williamson, is a Professor at the National Bible College & Seminary.  The Spirit of the LORD uses Pastor Williamson in various areas including teaching, preaching, healing, administration, and discernment in the form of “snapshot images” to encourage the body of Jesus Christ.  Pastor Williamson has three bachelor of arts degrees in Police Science, Christian Education, and Theology and a master’s degree in Biblical Studies.  He is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry in Theology and Pastoral Care. In addition to his duties at National Church of God, Pastor Williamson also served as State Chairman for the Association of International Gospel Assemblies for Maryland and Washington DC; with oversight for 175 Pastors/ Ministers and 75 ministries for over 19 years; served as Board Member for two of the DELMARVA Church of GOD State Children’s Board, Men’s Ministry and a member of the Board of Directors and advisor for the National Conference of Christians and Jews since the age of 14 years old as a youth peer counselor. Pastor Williamson also serves as a chaplain in four area Hospitals and at Naval Research Lab.  Pastor Williamson is a retired US Army Veteran still serving his God and the Body of Jesus Christ as he did his nation.    


Pastor Williamson has been married for 31 years to his anointed wife Gail, is the father of five adult children and grandfather of six and five great-grands.
