Isaiah 64:5 “Thou meetest him that rejoiceth.”

 

Is the scripture true? Will God meet you if you rejoice? Yes, He said He would. A rejoicing heart is a heart that rejoices by faith for it sees as God sees…a victory, a loved one saved, a healing, a ministry fulfilled, a life completed.

 

Proverbs 23:7 For as he (she) thinketh in his (her) heart, so is he (she)…

 

Mark 9:23 …All things are possible…

 

Our faith will work and serve us better as we endeavor to see by faith from the position of God’s throne rather than from the time dimension. If we see only from the time dimension, we see our problems and troubles. If, by faith, we see from the eternal dimension, we see as God sees.

 

II Kings 6:17, all that the young man could see (from the time zone) was their plight in being surrounded by the enemy. When the prophet (seeing from the eternal zone) prayed that his eyes would be opened, the young man saw what Elisha had already seen – and knew they were surrounded by angels, chariots of fire and thousands of promises.

 

Often, when in difficulty and I don’t know which way to turn, I say to God, “What do you see me doing to get out of this? The wisdom will come and the problem is solved. When we receive Jesus, God’s Son, we fulfill and meet all of God’s requirements. We will rejoice and laugh at our enemy when we understand our righteousness.

 

Joy flowing is laughter at the past and enjoying our present position in Christ.
