are you believing?
By: Candice Bowie Poe

Are you believing for God to do the impossible? Are you believing for healing?  Do you need a way out of no conceivable way?  Be encouraged.  God specializes in the impossible.  God is faithful and He upholds all things by the Word of His power.  Discover what the Word says about your situation.  Read and meditate on that word. Pray the word with thanksgiving and make your request before God.  Confess His word and believe it in your heart.  Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.  Hang in there when all around you appears opposite of your profession of faith.   When your faith has been exercised for decades over a situation, never let go of your confidence in God.  He is faithful.

The Word of God reminds us that life and death are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.  God reminded the Israelites in Numbers 14 that as truly as I live as you have spoken in Mine ears so will I do to you. Some of the Israelites were speaking death and destruction but Caleb and Joshua had a different report and received the promise of God in their life. God is faithful to perform what He has promised.

We are not alone in our stance upon the Word of God.  Many great witnesses have gone before us and endured a greater trying of their faith and came forth with victory.  Hebrews 11 outlines many great heroes of the faith like Rahab, Sara/h, and Jochebed, who took a chance and believed God in the face of impossibility, certain death, and destroyed futures.  All these unlikely heroes of the faith received their family rescued from destruction, barrenness healed in old age, and their bloodline spared from evil genocide.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 I am a living witness that God is faithful to perform what He is promised to you.  Let’s become more like Caleb who stilled the doubters all around him by saying, let us go up at once and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.  For God said of Caleb that he had another spirit with him, He followed Me fully and him will I bring into the land where he went, and his seed shall possess it. Remember God is faithful.
